This position is only open to candidates who have their residence in Montréal and its greater area.


Key responsibilities

  • Help drive the DevOps practice within your Scrum team & greater R&D;
  • Participate in product and cloud architectural design and analysis process;
  • Implement CI/CD solutions for your Scrum team;
  • Help automate various stages of the deployment and testing processes by leveraging IaC;
  • Create and maintain technical documentation;
  • Work within R&D to design automated performance and scalability testing strategies;

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant experience;
  • Expertise in building containers using pipelines such as GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins, etc.;
  • Proficiency with various languages (Bash, Java, JavaScript or Python, ideally) and at least one Object Oriented Programming language;
  • Infrastructure Provisioning experience and Continuous Delivery experience using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef;
  • Containers experience – Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Cloud Experience – Knowledge of cloud operations tasks in regard to scalability, deployments and zero-downtime upgrades;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French;

Principales responsabilités

  • Contribuer à la pratique DevOps au sein de votre équipe Scrum et de la grande équipe R&D ;
  • Participer à la conception et au processus d'analyse du design architectural produit et cloud ;
  • Implémenter des solutions CI/CD pour votre équipe Scrum ;
  • Assister à l'automatisation des différentes étapes des processus de lancement et de test en tirant parti de l'IaC ;
  • Créer et tenir à jour de la documentation technique interne ;
  • Travailler au sein des équipes R&D pour concevoir des stratégies automatisées de tests de performance et de modularité ;

Exigences

  • Au moins 3 à 6 ans d'expérience pertinente en la matière ;
  • Expertise dans la construction de conteneurs à l'aide de pipelines tels que GitLab, GitHub ou Jenkins, etc. ;
  • Maîtrise de divers langages (idéalement Bash, Java, JavaScript ou Python) et d'au moins un langage de programmation orienté sur l'objet ;
  • Expérience en approvisionnement d'infrastructure et expérience en livraison continue à l'aide d'outils comme Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef ;
  • Expérience des conteneurs – Docker et Kubernetes ;
  • Expérience du cloud – Connaissance des tâches d'exploitation du cloud en ce qui concerne la modularité, les lancements et les mises à niveau sans temps d'arrêt ;
  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication écrite et verbale en anglais et en français ;
